Place a piece of plastic wrap or waxed
paper on the surface of cooked puddings made with Watkins Dessert Mixes to prevent a skin
from forming.
To prevent nuts from sticking to your nut
chopper, dust them with flour before chopping.
For excellent mashed potatoes, add a
tablespoon or two of Watkins Cream Soup Base while mashing.
When cooking oatmeal, coat the pan with Watkins
Cooking Spray to keep the oatmeal from boiling over and sticking to the pan.
Microwave honey, molassass and corn syrup for
about 30 seconds to make them easier to pour and measure. Or set them in a bowl of warm
water.
A great way to thicken soup is to add instant
potatoes. They add flavor too!
Dried Rosemary is
used by infusion as a remedy for headache due to gastric disturbance. Use one teaspoon of
Rosemary to a cup of boiling water. Internal use is contraindicated in pregnancy.
