
Basic Watkins Chili
1 pound / 454 g Lean Ground Beef
1/2 Cup / 125 mL Chopped Green Pepper
1/2 Cup / 125 mL Chopped Onion
1 Can (15 oz. / 425 ml) Kidney Beans, drained
1 Can (16 oz. / 454 g) Diced Tomatoes or Stewed Tomatoes
1 Can (8 oz. / 227 g) Tomato Sauce
2 Tbsp. / 30 mL (more if desired) Watkins Chili Seasoning
Brown ground beef along with green pepper and onions in
large kettle; drain grease if necessary. Add remaining ingredients and bring mixture to a
boil. Reduce heat and simmer at least 30 minutes. Garnish as desired with chopped onions,
shredded cheese, or sour cream. Makes 6 servings.
