Chinese Five Spice Oatmeal Cookies
2 Cups Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Coarsely Ground Almonds
1 1/2 teas. Watkins
Five Spice Powder
1 teas. Watkins
Baking Powder
1 teas. Watkins
Cinnamon
1/2 teas. Salt
1 Cup Butter or Margarine
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 Large Eggs
2 1/2 teas. Watkins Vanilla
Combine oats, flour, ground almonds, spices, baking
powder and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream butter and both sugars
until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until well mixed. Add flour mixture,beat until
blended. On lightly greased cookie sheet, (spray with Watkins Cooking Spray)
drop batter in mounded tablespoons, about 1 1/2" apart. Bake at 350F, 12-15 minutes.
Cool on a rack. Store in covered container. Makes about 3 dozen.
