Cinnamon Apples with Vanilla Ice Cream
4 Tart Apples
3 Tbsp. Watkins
Original Grapeseed Oil
2/3 Cup White Sugar
1/2 teas. Watkins Vanilla, Double Strength
1 1/2 to 2 teas. Watkins
Apple Bake Seasoning
12 Cup Evaporated Skim Milk
Vanilla Ice Cream, Ice Milk, or Frozen Yogurt
Wash apples. Cut into quarters and cut out core. Cut each
quarter in 4 slices. Heat Watkins
Original Grapeseed Oil in a large saucepan. Add the apples, sugar, Watkins Vanilla, and Watkins Apple Bake
Seasoning. Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally,, until the sugar
begins to thicken (caramelize), about 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in the evaporated skim milk.
Continue to cook until the sauce thickens and apples are tender. Place scoops of ice cream
in 4 dessert dishes. Spoon hot apples over ice cream. Makes 4 servings.
