
Corn N Pepper Fritters
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Can (12 Oz.) Whole Kernel Corn with Sweet Peppers, undrained *
1 Tbsp. Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Tbsp. Watkins Baking Powder
1 teas. Salt
Dash Watkins Pepper
Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil (for frying)
Beat egg in large bowl. Stir in milk, corn, and 1 Tbsp.
grapeseed oil. Add and beat in flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Drop by
tablespoonsful into deep (or shallow) hot grapeseed oil at 375 degrees. Fry until golden
brown; 2 -3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot. Makes about 24
fritters. (Can be served with syrup.)
*You can use regular corn and add your own fresh, finely
cut sweet peppers if you wish.
