
Fireside Chili
2 Tbsp. / 30 ml Watkins Original
Grapeseed Oil
2 Lbs. / 900 g Lean Beef Chuck, cut into 1/4 inch / 6 mm cubes
2 Cups / 500 ml Chopped Onion
3 Tbsp. / 45 ml Watkins Beef Soup Base
3 Tbsp. / 45 ml Watkins Chili Powder
2 Tbsp. / 30 ml Watkins Inferno Hot Pepper Sauce
2 teas. / 10 ml Watkins Oregano
2 teas. / 10 ml Watkins Garlic Flakes
2 (16 oz. / 454 g) Cans Kidney Beans, undrained
1 (16 oz. / 454 g) Can Stewed Tomatoes, undrained
In Dutch oven, brown beef and onion in hot oil.
Stir in all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat.
Simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with your favorite
toppings. Makes 6 servings.
