
Grilled Chicken Breasts with Mandarin
Orange Sauce
Serve this dish with rice.
2 Tbsp. / 30 ml Butter or Margarine, melted
2 1/2 teas. / 12.5 ml Watkins Chicken Seasoning, divided
1 Tbsp. / 15 ml Cornstarch
1 teas. / 5 ml Brown Sugar
1/8 teas. / 0.6 ml Watkins Lemon Pepper
1 Cup / 250 ml Orange Juice
1 Can / 250 ml Orange Juice
1 Can (11 Oz. / 318 g) Mandarin Oranges, drained
4 Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast Halves
Heat grill. In small bowl, combine butter and 1 teas. / 5
ml chicken seasoning; set aside. In small saucepan, combine cornstarch, brown sugar,
remaining chicken seasoning, lemon pepper and orange juice; mix well. Bring to a boil,
stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in oranges. Cover and keep warm. When ready to
barbecue, place chicken breasts on grill about 4 to 6 inches from heat. Cook 8 to 10
minutes or until chicken is tender, turning once and brushing frequently with butter
mixture. Serve with warm orange juice. (Makes 4 servings)
