
Jalapeño Mustard Beans
3/4 Cup / 180 mL Sugar
1/2 Cup / 125 mL Cider Vinegar
3 Tbsp. / 45 mL Watkins Jalapeno Mustard
1-1/2 teas. / 7.5 mL Watkins Onion Flakes
1/4 teas. / 1.2 mL Watkins Seasoning Salt
1/8 teas. / 0.6 ml, more or less to taste Watkins Black Pepper
1 Package (16 oz. / 454 g) Frozen Green Beans or Yellow Wax Beans, thawed
Combine all ingredients except beans; bring to a boil,
stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add beans and simmer, uncovered, 3 minutes; cool.
Refrigerate overnight. Makes 8 servings.
