Mike's Famous Watkins Pizzelles
3 Eggs
2 tsp. Watkins
Baking Powder
1 tsp. Watkins
Vanilla, Original Double-Strength
1 tsp Watkins
Vanilla Nut Extract
1 3/4 Cups Flour plus 1 tsp to 1 Tbsp if needed
1/2 cup butter, melted & cooled
3/4 Cups Sugar
Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually. Beat until smooth. Add
cooled margarine and Watkins Vanilla and
Watkins Vanilla Nut
Extract. Sift flour and baking powder. Blend into egg mixture until smooth.
Dough will be stiff enough to be dropped by spoon (Use standard kitchen teaspoon, not a
measuring spoon). Bake in a Pizzelle baker, 20-30 seconds; baking time will vary depending
on consistency of dough, size of pizzelles and your preference for browning.
Makes approximately 30 Pizzelles.
