Pound Cake with Warm Rum Sauce
1 Frozen Pound Cake, thawed and sliced just before
serving.
Sauce:
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1 3/4 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Watkins
Vanilla Dessert Mix
1/4 Cup Butter
1/2 teas. Watkins
Rum Extract or Carmel Extract
Combine sugar, milk and dessert mix in a microwave safe
bowl. Microwave on high one minute at a time, stirring at each interval, until mixture
comes to a boil. Remove from oven and stir in butter until melted. Stir in extract. Serve
immediately over pound cake.
