Rum and Butter Spiced
Nuts
1 1/2 Cups Shelled Walnuts, Filberts, Almonds and /or
Pecans.
3 Tbsp. Butter
1/3 Cup Sugar
2 teas. Watkins Rum extract
2 teas. Watkins Butter extract
1 1/2 teas. Watkins Pumpkin Pie Spice
Spread the nuts with butter in a shallow baking dish.
Place in a warm oven until the butter melts. Stir to coat the nuts. Mix sugar together
with remaining ingredients. sprinkle over nuts. Bake at 350 degrees, stirring every few
minutes until the nuts are coated with a thick syrup, about 20 minutes. Cool.
