Savory Turkey Buffet

1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1/4 teas. Watkins Poultry Seasoning
1/8 teas. Watkins Onion Powder
1/8 teas. Watkins Cayenne Pepper
1-1 /2 teas. Watkins Chicken Soup Base
1- 1/2 Cups Hot Water
2 Cups Cubed Cooked Turkey
I Can (4 oz) Mushrooms, drained and chopped
5 Cups Soft Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs, beaten
8 Slices Bacon

Savory Sauce (recipe follows)

Melt butter; stir in flour, Poultry Seasoning, Onion Powder, and Cayenne Pepper. Cook until bubbly. Dissolve Chicken Soup Base in hot water; stir into flour mixture. Cook over low heat , stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in turkey and mushrooms. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature and then chill. Shape into eight 3 x 1 1/2inch rolls. Roll in bread crumbs, dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs again. Wrap each roll with a slice of bacon; fasten with a toothpick. Bake at 375'F for 30 minutes or until brown. Spoon Savory Sauce over rolls and serve piping hot. Makes 8 rolls.

Savory Sauce
1/2 Cup Watkins Cream Soup Base
1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 teas. Watkins Chicken Soup Base
1 Cup Milk
1 1/2 Cup Water

Combine Cream Soup Base, flour and Chicken Soup Base. Add milk and water and cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture begins to boil and thicken.
