
Tangy Barbecued Beef
1 Cup Ketchup
1 Cup Watkins
Prepared BBQ Sauce (your choice of flavors)
1 teas. Watkins
Garlic Granules
1 teas. Watkins
Onion Granules
1/2 teas. Watkins
Chili Powder
2 Tbsp. Dark Brown Sugar
1 teas. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 teas. Watkins
Dry Mustard
1 to 2 Watkins
Bay Leaves depending on taste
2 Pounds Round Steak
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients
except steak & bay leaf in bowl and mix thoroughly. Place steak whole into large
ceramic baking dish and pour mixture over. Add enough water to cover steak & place bay
leaf on top. Cover with foil and bake on center rack at 350 for 1 hours . 5. Remove from
oven. Remove bone and bay leaf(s) and shred beef with two forks. Stir beef in sauce and
re-cover with foil. Bake until beef absorbs sauce, approximately 1 more hour. Serve on
buns with Cole Slaw (pile the cole slaw right on the bun for true barbecue connoisseurs)
You can also serve with flour tortillas. Serves 10-12.
