
Tomato & Mozzarella Salad
Italian plum (Roma) tomatoes can be distinguished by
their small size and oblong shape. They have mour pulp (less juice and seeds) and are
usually sweeter than round red tomatoes.
2 Tbsp. / 30 ml Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
2 Tbsp. / 30 ml Red Wine Vinegar
2 teas. / 10 ml Watkins Horseradish Mustard
1 teas. / 5 ml Watkins Liquid Basil Spice
Freshly ground Watkins Sea Salt to taste
Watkins Onion & Garlic Pepper to taste
7 Cups / 1.75 L torn Romaine Lettuce or a packaged Italian Blend
3 Plum Tomatoes, sliced
4 Oz. / 113 g. Mozzarella Cheese, cut into 1/4 inch / 0.6 cm strips
In small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, mustard, liquid
spice, salt and pepper. Chill until serving time. Place lettuce in large salad bowl; toss
with 2 Tbsp. / 30 ml of the dressing. Place tomatoes and cheese on top and drizzle with
remaining dressing. (Makes 4 servings).
