Watkins Turkey & Rice Soup

Watkins Turkey & Rice Soup


1/2 cup Watkins Cream Soup Base
1 tablespoon Watkins Chicken Soup Base with Tarragon & Garlic *
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2  tablespoons Watkins Onion Flakes
3 cups  water
1 1/2 cups  Minnesota Sausage & Rice Dressing
         or precooked Watkins Brown & Wild Rice
1 1/2  cups cooked roast turkey
1/2 cup  coarsley shredded carrogs
1/2 cup  chopped celery
1  cup  evaporated milk
Watkins Black Pepper and salt to taste

Combine soup bases, flour and onion flakes in medium saucspan, bradually add water; stirring constantly until smooth. Cook over medium heat until mixture begins to thicken. Stir in ride stuffing, turkey, carrots and cellery; simmer 5 minutes. Add evaporated milk; heat through but do not boil.

Yield: 6 servings

* If Watkins Chicken Soup Base with Tarragon & Garlic is not available, substitute Watkins Chicken Soup Base
