
Wine-Marinated Grilled Steaks
1/4 Cup / 60 mL Dry Red Wine
2 Tbsp. / 30 mL Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
3/4 teas. / 4 mL Watkins Garlic Granules
1/2 teas. / 2.5 mL Watkins Thyme
1/2 teas. / 2.5 mL Watkins Basil
To taste, Watkins Black Pepper
To taste, Watkins Sea Salt
2 (6 oz. / 170 g) Top Sirloin Fillets, thawed per package directions
In shallow container, combine wine, grapeseed oil, garlic
granules, thyme, basil and pepper; mix well. Add steaks, turning to coat all sides.
Refrigerate and marinate at least 2 hours or longer. Grill or broil to desired degree of
doneness. (To use leftover marinade as a basting or dipping sauce, bring to a boil and
boil 1 minute before using.) Season steak, to taste, with additional Watkins Pepper and
freshly ground Watkins Sea Salt. Makes 2 servings.
