July 2004
We're back from WIBC and have lots of work to
do. The first thing on my agenda was to make sure that my team had as much information as
possible about new products and new materials that were introduced at our Conference. One
new tool that Watkins has introduced is a DVD showing how to do our Good Tastings Events
step by step - from talking to the host in the beginning, through the actual event then to
the final ending process.
This month I continue to work with my new
folks through personal phone coaching as well as talk to other folks who are
thinking about starting a Watkins business. It is my role to help people make a decision.
At
WIBC, Watkins has announced a Good Tastings Incentive for Associates. This beautiful
copper boiler can be earned free with just 12 Good Tastings events in July, August and
September. I have 3 events in July and have booked 5 more so I'm well on my way!
July 15th
Today's Good Tastings was with a group of ladies who already use Watkins products
and love them. We do 2-3 events a year and while they are not large, they are certainly
consistent. :)
July 22nd
In keeping with my philosophy of honesty in business, there are times when people
do silly things and it just makes me shake my head. I had someone request information by
filling out the form on my site then when I called, I was told not to call again. What a
puzzle! I had just hung up the phone with another lady who wants to develop a home-based
business for the tax deductions and we had a wonderful discussion. Most parts of this
business are interesting and fun, but once in a while there is someone that just leaves me
shaking my head!
